Conclusion of the contract

By booking the participation, the customer submits an application for the conclusion of the participation contract. The contract only becomes effective with confirmation by e-mail. These General Terms and Conditions are part of the contract.

Safety regulations

The event takes place at night in a nature reserve. Part of the event is a nocturnal hike through the nature reserve over a total distance of approx. 1.5 km. The paths are not illuminated and some are not paved. Visually impaired people, especially those suffering from night blindness, are strongly discouraged from attending the event. Should these persons nevertheless wish to participate, this is only permitted if accompanied by a person who does not have any visual impairments. The same applies to people with restricted mobility, i.e. who have difficulty walking, in particular who are dependent on walking aids or wheelchairs. Any impairment of vision or mobility must be reported to the event manager at the beginning of the event. The event management reserves the right to exclude people with visual or mobility impairments from the event.

Ticks can transmit Lyme disease and TBE. The participants are informed about this. It is recommended to protect yourself by vaccination and in particular by full body covering (closed trousers in the stockings, shirt in the trousers and long sleeves) and with insect repellents.

The site is the core area of “African swine fever”, which is not hazardous to human health. However, visiting the site may promote the spread of African swine fever. Individuals who regularly interact with animals. If you come into contact, you are advised to disinfect yourself carefully after your visit. The veterinary office can take measures to prevent the effects of the visit on other living beings. Bringing animals is strictly prohibited.

The use of light sources during the visit is also prohibited. With the exception of emergencies, this applies to flashlights or lamps of all kinds. Flash photography is also prohibited throughout the event.

The organizer assumes no liability for the loss or damage of items brought along, including clothing. The organizer only assumes liability for injury to body, life and health if the liability is based on intentional or grossly negligent behavior on the part of the organizer or his vicarious agents.

In the event that the visibility conditions on the planned day of the event are severely restricted due to rain, fog or some other reason, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the event. The same applies if the minimum number of 10 participants for the respective event is not reached, there is a storm warning from government agencies or the safety of the participants is compromised due to other events, e.g. forest fires or similar. cannot be guaranteed.

In such cases, the organizer will endeavor to cancel the event as early as possible. The cancellation is deemed to have been received once the message has been sent to the participant’s address, which the participant provided when booking his participation.

If the event is canceled in good time, the participant can rebook to an available alternative date free of charge or request a refund of the fee. Further claims, in particular those for the reimbursement of travel, accommodation and other costs associated with participation, are excluded.

A cancellation is timely if it occurs immediately after the organizer becomes aware of the obstacle. In case of doubt, the participants are recommended to inquire with the organizer immediately before the start of their journey to the event, whether the event will be held.

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period is 14 days from the day the contract was concluded. To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send the communication regarding your exercise of the right of cancellation before the cancellation period has expired.

Consequences of revocation

If you revoke this contract, we have paid you all payments that we have received from you, including fees of the ticket provider, immediately and at the latest within 14 days from the day on which we received the notification of your cancellation of this contract. To ensure that the repayment is made on time, we use the same means of payment that you used in the original transaction, unless something else was expressly agreed with you. Under no circumstances will you be charged fees for the repayment.

If you have requested that the service should begin during the cancellation period, you must pay us a reasonable amount that corresponds to the proportion of the services already provided up to the point in time at which you informed us of the exercise of the right of cancellation with regard to this contract compared to the total scope of the services provided for in the contract.
